About Shoah

My book titled: 'Shoah' is a love story during the Holocaust era between a German and Jew.

In this series I want to portray the truth and realism of how devastating the holocaust was, yet with the possibilities of friendship and kindness between German and Jews before and even through Hitler’s reign. It’s amazing to me how many German were against Hitler and tried to save, and succeeded in saving, Jews. I think it’s important to show people all things are possible

I am inspired by the Holocaust survivors and for the sacrifices that some of the anti-Hitler Germans did to save the Jews from total extermination.

I’ve wanted to write this book since I first thought about it 10 years ago, but was extremely picky and had really high expectations of myself to get the history correct and perfected. I wanted to write when I could visit Germany and see the camps face to face for the realism of it. However, I've realized that writing it is better than dreaming about it. I may end up never getting to Europe and therefore have decided to take a chance and begin my writing journey.
